Manage LiMed Import Items

Explanation

LiMed are materials authorized for use in the care under conditions as well as prices supervised by the authorities and insurance.

In order to simplify the management of the list of materials and prices, an import is available that updates the prices as well as the new products.

Configure LiMed

The LiMed functionality is based on information stored on the beneficiary and some on the service. Important is that the actual FOPH Excel List has been imported before entering any values.

Configure Unity Converter (obsolete)

Use Tell me and search for Limed unity converter and select Amb LiMeD Unity Converter. Select Unity Type LiMeD for LiMed unit conversion and Material for only material, give the unit like in the import file under Search Text and assign the E-Care UoM in Unit of Measure. You can add the Limed Unityfor the system to know how to calculate the maximum limitation, either per unit, per month or per year.

Import LiMed (obsolete)

Before importing, ensure to have the correct file format.

Under the Service List, on the ribbon menu, select Actions | Import | LiMeD. Indicate the starting date for the prices in Valid From and you can add a percentage for an additional margin calculation in Price Margin. Finally, under the menu Actions | Import File select the file.

The import file is a Microsoft Excel structured as follows:

> column 2 (B) : Service Code (internal number) [text]
> column 5 (E) : Description [text]
> column 9 (I) : Unit of Mesure [text]
> column 10 (J) : Price (recalculated with the optional margin %) [decimal]
> column 12 (L) : Maximum Price (for the given unity) [text]
> column 13 (M) : Unity of measure for the maximum price [text]
> column 15 (O) : the official LiMeD Number [text]

Import FOPH Excel LiMed List

The import will store the full LiMed list in E-Care. It will also generate multilingual descriptions and store prices. These will be versioned and updated according to the import date.

Thus, you can define your MiGeL setup based on the latest data.

Download the Full Limed Excel file (Gesamtliste der MiGeL) you can find on the FOPH website (https://www.bag.admin.ch/bag/de/home/versicherungen/krankenversicherung/krankenversicherung-leistungen-tarife/Mittel-und-Gegenstaendeliste.html)

Use Tell me and search for Limed Item FOPH and select Limed Item FOPH. Select Actions | Import and drop the downloaded file to be imported.

Check and configure LiMed unit

Use Tell me and search for Limed unity FOPH Select Eca Amb LiMed Unity FOPH. On this list, you have to manage the unit conversion (if needed) specifying the quantity of item for the unit in field Quantity Per. Using Pro Rata you must define which unit is a pro rata unit and specify in Ambulatory Unity which period (Monthly or Yearly) the pro rata is based on.

It's time to configure the beneficiary and the service.
