Manage Departments
Explanation
A department in E-Care is kind of virtual entity. It can be a building, a floor or a group of floors or a group of rooms and so on.
Create Department
The structure is of type Parent (department) -> sub-parent and each of them can have children called Objects.
On the Institution list, select menu E-Care | Department. On the page, the top part lists departments and sub-departments, and the bottom part lists the objects for each selected department or sub-department.
Create your structure here, like the following example: You have 2 stations in your building, the first one is on floor level with 4 rooms, the second is on second level with 3 rooms and the rooftop with 2 rooms.
Create the following departments and sub-departments:
Department Station 1, no parent department
Department Floor Level, with parent department = Station 1
Department Station 2, no parent department
Department Level 2, with parent department = Station 2
Department Rooftop, with parent department = Station 2
Create Objects
Now select department floor Level (from main level Station 1):
Create the following objects (rooms):
- R001 as Room 1
- R002 as Room 2
- R003 as Room 3
- R004 as Room 4
Now select department Level 2 (from main level Station 2):
Create:
- R021 as Room 21
- R022 as Room 22
- R023 as Room 23
Now select department Rooftop (from main level Station 2):
Create:
- R031 as Room 31
- R032 as Room 32

The field External Code can be useful for exporting structure to external solutions like a Rai Soft
From the institution department, you can have a list showing all beneficiaries from a specific department using menu Show beneficiaries for department
